Hello, I’m Shawn Fitzpatrick. With a lifelong passion for storytelling, I found a way to seamlessly blend my original professional career with the creative outlet of filmmaking. I initially began creating content for the fire department, producing documentary shorts that followed recruits through the fire academy as they embarked on their challenging journey to become fully qualified firefighters.

Over time, as I continued to hone and develop my craft, I expanded my work to include collaborations with first responder technology companies. As a veteran firefighter, I possessed a unique niche in producing content specifically tailored for these tech companies. This allowed me to help articulate their stories with the end user’s perspective firmly in mind. Combining the rare skill set of being able to operate safely in hostile, low-light environments while capturing high-quality video, I am uniquely equipped to gather compelling content few others can.

Telling stories through video in a thoughtful, narrative style remains my true passion. Beyond this, I have also worked on a diverse range of projects including weddings, personal biographies, business profiles that reveal “how the sausage is made,” as well as high-end real estate videography.
